American Red Cross:
YOU’VE GOT TIME

Home fires are a significant threat to our communities, with more people dying every year from home fires than all other natural disasters combined. Smoke alarms can cut the risk of death, yet many households still don’t have access. That’s why the American Red Cross launched “Sound the Alarm”, a series of free smoke alarm installation events that occur nationwide.

Unfortunately, one of the barriers that keeps people from volunteering for “Sound the Alarm” is a perceived lack of time, but that may be the result of spending so much time looking at screens and getting caught up doing other things that take up more time than we think.

“You’ve Got Time” takes a different turn from the emotional storytelling the American Red Cross is known for and has a bit of fun instead—using a catchy new song and a touch of humor to show people that everyone has time to make a potentially lifesaving change.
